A Voice Of Reason During The Turmoil Of  Family Law Disputes

How do I protect my kids in the midst of a divorce?

| May 19, 2017 | Child Custody |

All parents love their children and all parents want to protect the best interests of the child. This philosophy is also the primary concern for the courts when they make their rulings regarding child custody, child support and other divorce related decisions. Making well-advised and intelligent decisions regarding your life and future with your children is not always easy.

Emotions often run high during a divorce. After all, if you were able to work with your spouse and had a healthy relationship, likely you would not be divorcing. It is important, however, to make every effort to be of sound mind and to try to make intelligent and wise decisions, without letting emotions take over.

Often one of the most heated areas of dispute is regarding child custody. Although all parties want what they perceive as the best interests of the child, there are often very different opinions on what is actually best for the child. It is times like these where having a strong legal team at your side can make a difference.

Here at the law offices of John T. Chamberlin, Attorney at Law, we understand your concern. We understand that every situation is unique, but can still apply our experiences with clients and with the courts over our quarter century of time in law to help guide our clients toward a favorable outcome.
